Transport and Access

There is now more discussion and understanding on the importance of integrating Planning and Transport policies.

Wiltshire has not yet published its new Local Transport Policy.  This makes commenting on the review of the Local Plan in the sections related to Transport difficult.  It also leaves a gap in any sections on local road improvements.  How would they be affected by strategic road plans and anything to do with climate change and environmental policies? This paper, published in 2023 by DfT, has interesting sections on Bus Services, Active Travel, Public Rights of Way and Investment Funding.
